Put your mental, spiritual and physical flow in place.  What’s your foundation?  What helps you feel grounded?  For me, its vital that every morning, I light the candles on my altars, burn a little sage and listen to my affirmation recordings.  Then I do a couple of sun salutations, get dressed and eat a small meal. &lt;br/&gt;&lt;br/&gt;Understanding your personal patterns&lt;br/&gt;For example, are you a morning or night person? Do you need to have a clean, orderly space to work?  Do you write down the things you want to do for the day, week or month?   When’s the best time for you to make phone calls or return email messages?  I’ve found that mornings are the best time for me to do creative activities, and after 8pm all I want to do is surf the Internet.  If I have lots of appointments and errands, its best for me to plan to spend the next day in – returning calls, writing, etc.&lt;br/&gt;&lt;br/&gt;Knowing your limits&lt;br/&gt;You’ve probably heard this adage: How do you eat an elephant?  One bite at a time.  The big goal may be to become financially debt-free; the way to achieve it is through the daily practice of self-discipline with your spending.   By doing so you’ll decrease feeling overwhelmed and increase the likelihood of success.  The joy will be in both the process and the attainment. By breaking the goal down into smaller, more digestible pieces, you’ll be able to sustain your focus when external circumstances look different that your internal vision.&lt;br/&gt;&lt;br/&gt;An easy way to do this is to expand the time frame you’re working from, to one that fits your personal rhythm.  Let’s say you’re more a salary –employee type than an hourly worker-type.  Meaning, it doesn’t matter when you get it done, as long as you do.  So, instead of writing tasks on a daily to-do list, use a weekly or monthly list.   Free yourself from the self-imposed boundaries of time and flow with your personal rhythm.  Both you and those around you will find that your productivity will increase and your ability to meet deadlines will improve.&lt;br/&gt;&lt;br/&gt;Knowing what time it is&lt;br/&gt;What I have observed in people who achieve their goals is that they usually get there by staying focused on the moment.  I heard Marianne Williamson says that the present is the only place where the divine and the mundane meet, that the past and the future are only in our minds.  So, for us to connect our linear time experience with God’s eternity-clock, with must be fully present in this moment.    &lt;br/&gt;&lt;br/&gt;By being in the moment, you are automatically achieving your goal. Appreciate the doing, as well as the done. &lt;br/&gt;</description>
